What is the Fly & Wine experience like?
The experience begins with the preparation and inflation of the hot-air balloon and continues with a sunset flight over the interior of Mallorca. Once in the air, the wine tasting begins, accompanied by local produce and commentary from the oenologist. The flight path is determined by the wind, so every Fly & Wine experience is different and each route offers a chance to discover Mallorca from a new perspective.
Meeting point and time
Weather is not an exact science, and balloon flights are no exception. Since the flight depends on the wind direction and intensity, as well as the sunrise or sunset time (which varies depending on the season), the meeting point and time may be subject to change.
Volartis will confirm the exact time and place of the meeting a day or two in advance., although these may vary with prior notice.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
The tasting takes place during the hot-air balloon flight for small groups of between 4 and 5 passengers. If there are larger groups, the tasting can take place after the morning flight or on the ground, due to space constraints in the basket.
Yes, of course. At Volartis, we want to showcase our culture, cuisine and produce, including bringing you local specialities that are impossible to find in supermarkets or shops.

Appropriate for the time of year: closed-toe, flat shoes and comfortable clothing. During the flight and in the balloon basket, the temperature is similar to that on the ground.
